Welcome.

Hello Reader.

You may have noticed that I have once again decided to write a Blog. Why, I hear you ask, do you keep restarting your blogs Andrew? Well that answer to that is simple.

The problem is that I actually want to be entertaining. I want people to want to read this, to come back every time they see I've added to it. The problem I have though (and this may sound very harsh on myself) but I don't actually have any hobbies that I feel will entertain the masses. Sure, I could talk about video games as I have in my previous Blog "the angry n00b" but that is a very select group of people I would be writing to, and I want everybody to feel they can read this.

"So what do I do now?" I asked myself. "Well", I thought, "I could always talk about something like TV or Celebrities, that speaks to the masses right?". And, although that is true, I don't really watch enough television to get any real Insight or interesting information, and when it comes to celebrities, I usually end up by just saying what they've been in, like "oh yeah the guy from The Hangover is in it" or "isn't he in Zoolander as well?" so I would end up typing something that I would get instantly, but everyone else would have no clue.

so then I thought "the news?". Now, the news is good if you are writing quite a formal blog which is packed with important information that needs to be read to stop the world from shutting down etc. but that type of news never really interested me. I actually once did video blogs where I discussed the news, but not the important stuff like the worlds' economic crisis at the moment, but more the "and finally" segments, news that is there to cheer you up at the end when you realise the state of the planet is a wreck. Things like "Puppy flushed down the toilet returns home after 5 years". Silly things like that. But I don't really have the time to sort through all the news to find the stories I like, and to be honest, if it has already been broadcaster across the country, me writing it in a blog isn't really going to inform many more people is it?

I had so many themes rushing around inside my head that it all became very confusing in the end. should I write about sport? "what have you ever done that's even remotely sporty andrew?". Ok then how about gadgets and and electronics? "if you're going for the geeky look go for it". Fine, but what about books and literature? "the only books you have ever read are Harry Potter and Manga. There's plenty to write about there.."

And then it hit me. "why don't I just write about whatever I feel like writing about?". At first the idea scared me, but the more I thought about, the more it grew on me. I could just write about whatever pops into my head. should it be something that happened to me during the week, or an idea for a business venture, or even just a song I have heard and thought i should share it with you. No theme, except that every post will be about what I want to write about. So any of these things I've listed, and so many more. And I'm not going to set myself a deadline either, like I usually do, say every Wednesday or so. Because that just pressures me into force-thinking something that I don't fully believe in writing about. And if only two of you are reading this, so what? as long as your getting something out of it, then that's two people i may have kept interested for a short while.

If you have read this far, I thank you. Clearly the first post is always going to be a bit bland, especially one that is explaining what I hope to achieve with this blog. Be sure to watch or track or whatever it is called on Blogger, but just make sure you follow me, I hope to write many interesting things soon.

Andy*
